PTJ stands for Pursue The Journey. We believe that journey should include the chance to play, grow, build confidence, and belong.
For some families, getting the equipment a child needs can be a challenge. Through this campaign, your purchase helps us put a new pair of cleats into the hands of another young athlete.
The pair you purchase is yours to keep. The additional pair comes from PTJ’s inventory and is donated by us.

Your purchase triggers a one-for-one donation commitment from PTJ. If you purchase one qualifying pair, we contribute one pair for donation. If you purchase three qualifying pairs, we contribute three pairs.

Do I need to do anything at checkout?
No. Your qualifying cleat purchase counts automatically. You do not need to enter a special donation code, select a recipient, or add a donation to your cart.

Does the donated pair cost me extra?
No. PTJ provides the donated pair at no additional charge to you. You pay for your own purchase and any normal shipping or taxes shown at checkout.

Do discounted purchases count?
Yes! Cleat purchases made with our campaign sales, app-exclusive offers, and affiliate discount codes count toward the donation campaign. You can take advantage of an available offer and still help another athlete. The normal terms of each discount or promotion apply.

Does every item I purchase trigger a donation?
This campaign matches purchases of PTJ cleats. Apparel, accessories, shipping charges, and gift card purchases do not trigger a cleat donation. A qualifying cleat purchase paid for with a gift card does count.

Who receives the donated cleats?
Donated cleats go to youth athletes who need equipment, either directly or through nonprofit organizations, youth sports programs, and community partners. Our focus is helping kids access the equipment they need to participate in sports.

How does PTJ select donation recipients?
PTJ considers equipment needs, the athletes a program serves, available cleat sizes, and the organization’s ability to distribute the cleats to kids. We coordinate with recipients to make each donation useful for the athletes receiving it.

Yes. Donated pairs are new PTJ cleats provided from our inventory.

Will the donated pair be the same style or size as the pair I buy?
Not necessarily. PTJ selects donated styles and sizes based on recipient needs and available inventory. Your purchase determines the number of pairs we contribute, rather than the specific style or size donated.

Can I choose the athlete or organization that receives my matching pair?
Individual purchases are pooled into donation batches, so customers do not select the recipient of their matching pair. If you know a youth program or nonprofit that could benefit, email team@ptjshoes.com to suggest it for consideration.

Can a team, school, or nonprofit request cleats?
Yes. Email team@ptjshoes.com with your organization’s name and location, a contact person and contact information, the ages and approximate number of athletes you serve, the cleat sizes and quantities needed, and a brief explanation of the need and how the cleats would be distributed. Requests are reviewed based on need, available inventory, and campaign capacity. Submitting a request does not guarantee a donation.

When will the cleats be donated?
PTJ distributes donations in batches as purchases accumulate and arrangements with recipients are completed. Your matching pair may not be delivered on the same day your order is placed or shipped. We’ll share donation milestones as distributions are completed.

Why doesn’t the donation counter change immediately after my purchase?
Our counter tracks pairs actually delivered to athletes or recipient organizations. Your purchase helps build an upcoming donation batch, and the counter updates when that distribution is completed. This helps show the impact already delivered.

What happens if I cancel or return my purchase?
Canceled orders and refunded cleat purchases do not count toward the campaign’s matching total. If a donation has already been delivered, those cleats stay with the recipient. We account for purchase adjustments when planning future donation batches. Your purchase remains subject to PTJ’s normal return policy.

What happens if I exchange my cleats for another size?
A size exchange counts as the same purchase and does not trigger an additional donation. As long as you keep a qualifying pair, that purchase remains part of the campaign.

Is 10,000 the number of cleats or the number of pairs?
Our goal is 10,000 pairs of cleats, which is 20,000 individual shoes. We have donated 184 pairs to date, leaving 9,816 pairs to reach our goal.
